What power supply do I need to power my bench harness?

If you have purchased a bench harness, you will require a 12 volt DC power supply. You can now purchase a Woolich Racing power supply under the 'Harnesses' section on the product page for any model, with the plug types available to suit most parts of the world.  You can also find them on our 12V Power Supplies page or under the 'Products' drop-down menu.

Our power supplies come complete with an integrated on/off switch and 2-pin connector to fit directly into our bench harnesses. They are designed specifically to work with ECUs, and typically put out a voltage close to 13V, which is the ideal voltage for ECU reading and writing. If you are using a power supply that only puts out a nominal 12V, this may not be sufficient for the ECU to operate with our flashing products. In recent years we have seen customers face issues when using generic 12V power supplies which not designed to be used with ECUs.

Our 12 volt power supply units have the following specifications:
Nominal Output Voltage: 12V DC (max output 13V)
Current: 1.5 Amps

Input Voltage: 100-240V AC
Frequency: 50/60Hz
