A VPN or Virtual Private Network is a tool which is used to encrypt your internet traffic. VPNs can be used to hide your IP-address, change your apparent location or make it appear that your are located in a different country.
We do discourage the use of VPNs when using the Woolich Racing websites and the WRT software for the following reasons:
- Orders could be shipped to the wrong country which usually incurs long delays and increased shipping costs
- New accounts cannot be automatically verified if the account address does not match your detected location
- Existing Woolich accounts may be locked if the detected geolocation does not match the physical address on your account. This can cause delays to your tuning workflow as you will not be able to access the WRT software or buy products on the Woolich Racing website until you have opened a support ticket and we have reviewed the situation.
If your account is locked outside of the Woolich Racing support hours you may experience significant delays before we can restore access.
