ECU Read Types


Woolich Racing Tuned software (WRT) now shows a 'Read Type' indicator in the bin file information section of the New Bin File screen. 



There are 4 different Read Types. 

Read Ok: ECU can be read in any state.
  • New ECU part numbers can be read out in the software and submitted to Woolich Racing. Please open a ticket if you have submitted a new part number. 

Send in to Read: You will not be able to Read the ECU directly in WRT. 
  • New ECU part numbers in this bin file definition require the ECU be sent to Woolich Racing. 

Read after first write: ECU can only be read out after the ECU has been written to. 
  • New ECU part numbers in this bin file definition require the ECU be sent to Woolich Racing. 

User Bench Harness to Read: ECU can only be read out using a bench harness.
  • New ECU part numbers can only be read out and submitted to Woolich Racing using a Bench Harness. If you do not have access to a bench harness you will need to send the ECU to Woolich Racing.
